Lois Davidson is a watercolour and mixed media landscape artist from the south-east of England, with over 40 years of experience. She has been painting professionally since 2020, and was shortlisted for the Jackson’s Painting Prize in 2021. She runs a successful YouTube art channel with her daughter as well as a popular art community on Patreon. She exhibits locally and online, and has sold her art around the world.

Her current creative projects include an exploration of historical Thames and Suffolk sailing barges inspired by the archives of a Thames bargeman, and two series of landscape paintings. The first of these is a series of abstract landscapes titled ‘Of Flint and Chalk’ exploring the East Sussex coast and the South Downs, the second, a long-term project exploring the theme of ‘edgelands’ and outskirts.
